高低壓開關柜在工作的過程中主要是以斷路器為主的電氣設備；是指生產廠家根據電氣一次主接線圖的要求，將有關的高低壓電器（包括控制電器、保護電器、測量電器）以及母線、載流導體、絕緣子等裝配在封閉的或敞開的金屬柜體內，作為電力系統中接受和分配電能的裝置。

　　1．防止帶負荷分合隔離開關。

　　2．防止誤入帶電間隔。

　　3．防止誤分、合斷路器。

　　3. Prevent accidental opening and closing of circuit breakers.

　　4．防止帶電掛接地線。

　　5．防止帶接地線合閘。

　　高低壓開關柜的部件主要有斷路器、隔離開關、負荷開關、操作機構、互感器以及各種保護裝置等組成。開關柜的主要作用是在電力系統進行發電、輸電、配電和電能轉換的過程中，進行開合、控制和保護用電設備。

　　1、整柜采用拼裝式組合結構，模數孔安裝，零部件通用性強，適用性好，標準化程度高。

　　2、柜體上部為母線室、前部為電器室、后部為電纜進出線室，各室間有鋼板或絕緣板作隔離，以保證。

　　3、MCC柜抽屜小室的門與斷路器或隔離開關的操作手柄設有機械聯鎖，只有手柄在分斷位置時門才能開啟。

　　4、受電開關、聯絡開關及MCC柜的抽屜具有三個位置：接通位置、試驗位置、斷開位置。
