焊接前的準備工作：焊接勞動保護用品要穿戴整齊，對焊接設備、焊條等進行檢查，是否符合規定要求，有無運轉不靈的問題；焊件上的鐵銹、油脂及水分等，應潔凈。

要充分了解焊接的結構：焊條應能夠確保進入焊接區，并且要歪斜45度才行。在焊接時，不允許進行長焊縫接連焊接，應進行交替斷續焊接，避免呈現熱變形，影響焊縫的焊接質量。
